Omega Farms LLC is heavily investing in Aquaculture and planning to operate two separate facilities (Inland and offshore).
Inland Fish
Farming Project
The Inland/indoor fish farming project will be designed for various local marine fishes. The facility includes a section for growing out (Market sized fish) and another nursery section serving the offshore facility. An associated marine nursery unit with an annual production capacity of 4 million fish seeds (3-5grs) yearly production capacity which will serve for OMEGA LLC / offshore cages project fry supply and sharing in UAE national food security in terms of being a marine fish juveniles’ provider to local fish farmers. A nursery (Fish fry care unit) will be established within the inland facility for sustainable production from the offshore cages.

Fish Farming Project
As per the fish cage farming site selection protocol, the Offshore cages fish farm project site was decided to be in Dhadna. The offshore cages fish farming project will be designed for 500 MT annual production in phase1 from variable mariculture species. Fish species candidates were selected according to market demand, and fish saw availability (Royal Seabream, local, orange-spotted grouper, Safi, etc.)
